Simplified Open Contract For Traffic Pacification And Accident Reduction Works In The Municipality Of Termens.The Town Council Of Térmens Has Seen It Necessary To Initiate The Works For Traffic Calming And Reduction Of Accidents In The Crossing Of The C-13 With The Municipality Of Térmens In Order To Remedy The Deficiencies Indicated Below: 1) Speeding On The C-13 Road (Owned By The Generalitat Of Catalonia) That Crosses The Population Center Of Térmens At Km. 21. It Is A Wide And Very Busy Road With An Imd Of More Than 5,000 Vehicles Per Day. These Vehicles Often Circulate At A Speed Higher Than Permitted In Urban Cores. 2) Lack Of An Accessible Route In Much Of The Crossing Of The C-13 With The Municipality Of Termens Due To The Lack Of Sidewalks, Traffic Lights And Pedestrian Crossings. 3) The C-13 Road Has A Sewage Pipe That, In Some Sections Is Not Present, From Month To Month, In Many Areas Sewers Are Missing In Order To Properly Drain Rainwater From The Road. 4) The Current Streetlights On The Section Of The C-13 Road In The Municipality Of Térmens Are Incandescent, Which Consume A Lot Of Energy And Are Not Efficient. The Actions Of The Project Are: • Construction Of New Sidewalks In The Sections That Are Necessary.• Correcting The Excess Of Speed On The C-13 Road Through The Installation Of Pedestrian Crossings And Three Pairs Of Traffic Lights.• Improvement Of The Sanitation Network Through New Sewers And Connection With The Existing Sanitation Pipe.• Improvement Of The Lighting Network Through The Change Of Light Fixtures To Led.
