Airport Equipment – ​​Delivery Of A Modular Vertiport Infrastructure. As Part Of The Dlr-Internal Research Project Vertified, A Modular Vertiport Research Infrastructure Is To Be Built At The Cochstedt Site. The Aim Is To Physically Implement Two Demonstrators With Which Future Concepts Of Innovative Air Mobility Can Be Examined, Tested, Validated And Demonstrated Under Realistic Conditions. The Infrastructure Is Intended To Support Two Demonstrator Configurations: • Urban Vertiport Demonstrator To Represent Vertiport-Related Operating And Infrastructure Concepts In An Urban, Model Environment. • Vertiport Demonstrator At The Airport To Investigate The Integration Of Vertiport-Related Processes Into An Existing Airport Or Apron Infrastructure. Both Demonstrators Are Used To Investigate Takeoff And Landing Processes, Ground Processes, Passenger And Cargo Processes, Security And Monitoring Functions, Meteorological Recording, Energy And Charging Processes As Well As The Integration Of Digital Services.
