Payment shall be made in cash, bank certified check or telegraphic transfer to the Ministrys Bank Account in the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Account No. 1000279991609 All bids must be accompanied by a security ETB 70,000,000.00 (ETB Seventy Million) or in any currency that can be convertible easily in to ETB from eligible and reliable bank in the form specified in the bidding documents, Late bids will be rejected. The National PESAPYE Project Office of Ethiopia, on behalf of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), invites qualified construction companies to submit bids for the construction of the Sidama-Gidabo Irrigation Scheme. The works cover approximately 5,000 hectares of irrigable land and include: Construction of secondary canals Construction of tertiary canals Drainage works Construction of access roads The project has a 24-month completion period and is financed by the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA).
