Background of the Project The "Building the Climate Resilience of Children and Communities through the Education Sector" (BRACE) project is a pioneering initiative led by Save the Children and Cambodias Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport with co-financing support from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) through the World Bank and UNICEF. BRACE aims to protect schools from floods, droughts, and extreme heat. By upgrading school facilities, integrating climate learning, and strengthening early warning systems, BRACE empowers over 352,000 children and community members to build lasting resilience, so learning never stops.
