The Squamish River Outfall For The Squamish Wastewater Treatment Plant (Wwtp) Requires Relocation Due To Changing River Channel Conditions, Such That The Existing Outfall Discharge No Longer Receives Good Dilution Conditions, Particularly At Lower River Water Levels. Based On The Feasibility Study Prepared By Greatpacific Consulting Ltd., A More Favourable Location Was Identified Where The River Channel Was Assessed To Be More Stable With More Consistent Access To Good River Flows. To Move The Discharge To The Proposed Location, The Existing Outfall Will Need To Be Extended Approximately 340 M Downstream. The Scope Of Work Is As Outlined In The Drawings And Supplementary Specifications, Including, But Not Limited To, Pre-Construction Survey And Activities, Tree Clearing, Mobilization And Site Preparation, Installation And Commissioning Of New Infrastructure, Testing, And Site Restoration.Interested Suppliers Can Register, Download Project Documents And Submit Their Responses On The Bids & Tenders Project Page Linked Here.
