The District Of Fort St. James Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents To Constructand Install Approximately 530 Meters Of 6 Inch Water Main, 2 Hydrants, 4 Valves, Multipletee’S, Couplers And Other Associated Parts Along Resort Hill Road, Starting At Stones Bayrd./ Resort Hill Intersection And Continuing Down Road For Approximately 530 Meters. Theproponent Will Be Responsible For The Excavation, Construction And Installation Of Allcomponents Within Scope, As Well As Compaction Of Road Base In Preparation For Paving.Project Must Be Completed Between September 2026 And June 2027.A Change Order May Be Added To The Contract, Dependant On Residents Application, To Installup To 10 Residential ¾ Inch Water Service Lines.Proponents Are Advised That There Is An Outstanding Property Matter Affecting This Requestfor Proposals. The District Intends To Proceed With The Procurement Process While Thismatter Is Being Resolved. The District Will Not Award A Contract Until This Matter Has Beenadequately Resolved, And Therefore May Not Award A Contract For These Works.Further Details As To The Scope Of This Opportunity And The Requirements Can Be Found Withinthis Rfp In Appendix C.
