Ekerö Municipality Intends To Procure A Digital, Cloud-Based Library System For Public And School Library Operations With An Associated Public Website For Public Library Operations. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Ensure A Long-Term Sustainable, Flexible And User-Friendly Digital Infrastructure That Supports The Libraries In Ekerös Mission To Promote Reading, Knowledge, Participation And Democracy. The Library System And Associated Public Website Must Meet Todays And Future Needs Of Residents, Visitors And Employees According To Appendix - Requirements Specification. The Cultural And Leisure Administration In Ekerö Municipality Is The Client And Recipient Of The Procured System. Current Situation The Culture And Leisure Administration In Ekerö Municipality Currently Uses The Library System Book-It And The Integrated Website Axiell Arena Nova. Ekerö Municipality Estimates That Around 25 Employees In The Cultural And Leisure Administration Use The System And Website Today. The Number Of Library Users In The Library System Today Is Approximately 4,000 Within School Library Operations And Approximately 10,000 Within Public Library Operations. The Number Of Visits To The Public Website Is Estimated At Around 100,000 A Year And Takes Place From Both Mobile Phones And Computers. Timetable Ekerö Municipality Plans To Award The Procurement In November 2026 And Requires That A New Library System With Associated Installation, Migration And Implementation Be Fully Functional And In Operation No Later Than March 15, 2027.
