As Part Of The Energy-Efficient Renovation Of The Karlshorst Fire Station, Dönhoffstrasse 30/31 In Berlin-Karlshorst, The Side Wing, Rear Building And Intermediate Building Are Being Renovated And Partially Rebuilt. The Aim Of The Measure Is To Significantly Improve The Energy Efficiency Of The Entire Property. The Carpentry And Timber Construction Work Is Being Tendered, Essentially New Roof Structures Over All Three Courtyard Buildings, A New Ventilated Wooden Facade On The Side Wing As Well As Staircase And Ceiling Structures Made Of Cross-Laminated Timber In The Rear Building. The Front Building Of The Fire Station Will Remain In Operation During Construction. The Measure Is Subject To Monument Law Requirements.
