Project Name: Smart-Flo Programme Purpose: To provide girls in under-resourced areas with reusable pads in order to: restore the dignity of girls by promoting quality, sustainable menstrual hygiene reduce the carbon footprint and waste generated by single use pads reduce school absenteeism due to inadequate menstrual hygiene products reduce the prevalence of drain blockages caused by improper disposal of rags into the sewer system Contract period: On appointment and on receipt of Purchase Order Number to 30 June 2027. Key deliverables: A total of 333 SMART FLO KITS or similar kits (see photos below) comprising of the following: Flo Kit including 3 reusable sanitary pads and a cleaning kit. 1 x MINI reusable pad 1 x MIDI reusable pad 1 x MAXI reusable pad Cleaning Kit: 1x 5L Black bucket and lid to wash the pads in 1x 250g hand-washing powder to soak the soiled pads 1x 125g laundry soap bar for washing the pads 1x 200ml white spirit vinegar for soaking during rinsing 1x Menstrual health information brochure 300 Drying clips one for each kit 300 Plastic hangers for each kit Notes to the Provider: Please find below example of the reusable menstrual pads from a kit for perusal as part of the submission.
