Awa Disposal Gmbh (Awa) Is A Municipal Waste Disposal Company And Guarantees Disposal Safety For Around 820,000 Citizens. The Primary Task Of The Awa Is To Implement The Waste Management Concept Of The Western Disposal Region Association (Zew) For The Aachen City Region And The Düren District. For This Purpose, It Operates Four Disposal Centers, A Composting Plant With A Fermentation Stage, A Pollutant Collection Point, 50% Of The Weisweiler Waste Incineration Plant And A Mobile Pollutant Collection In The Aachen City Region And The Düren District. The Awa Intends To Expand The Würselen Fermentation Plant To Include Plug Flow Fermentation With Intensive Rotting At The Am Weiweg 40 Location In 52146 Würselen. To Date, Around 30,000 Tonnes Of Organic Waste Have Been Treated At The Site Each Year. Up To Around 70,000 Tonnes Of Organic Waste Are Available Each Year In The Association Area Of ​​The Western Disposal Region West (Zew) Association.
