Tenders are invited for Reconstruction of Kelaniya Old Railway Bridge at 3m Och on Mainline Bid Security (Rs. Mn): 90000000 The Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 03.09.2026 at the office of Deputy General Manager (Procurement), Procurement Sub Department, Sri Lanka Railways, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10 and a site visit will be arranged thereafter. A complete set of Procurement Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application and valid cash deposit slip of non-refundable fee from 19.08.2026 until 22.09.2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. for above contract. Non-refundable fee of Rs. 500,000.00 (with VAT) for the Procurement Document shall be paid by depositing cash to the following bank account: Account Name: General Manager - Sri Lanka Railways Account Number: 176100199027357 Bank Name: Peoples Bank, Mid City Branch, Colombo 10 Original/valid cash deposit slips should be submitted with the Bids at the submission of bids and its availability will be scrutinized. As per the Public Contracts Act No. 3 of 1987, only the Agents and Successful bidders of tender shall be registered in the Department of Registrar of Companies. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid-Security for an amount given in the above table. Bid-Security must be valid for 28 days beyond bid validity period. Bids must be delivered in duplicate to the Chairman, High-Level Procurement Committee, Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, 7th Floor, Sethsiripaya, Stage II, Battaramulla at or before 2.00 p.m. on 23.09.2026.
