Greater Manchester Fire And Rescue Service Is Required By Law To Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) Worn By Operational Fire Fighters Is Fit For Purpose, To Enable Them To Perform Their Duties, And Maintained To An Appropriate Standard In Line With The Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 2022 (Ppe Regulations) (As Amended From Time To Time). As Such, Greater Manchester Combined Authority (Gmca), On Behalf Of Greater Manchester Fire And Rescue Service (Gmfrs), Seeks To Procure A Modern, Interoperable Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (Scba) Solution, Including:•Breathing Apparatus Sets•Telemetry-Based Entry Control Boards (Ecb)•Associated Ancillary And Support Equipmentpre-Market Engagement Information:Gmca And Gmfrs Will Be Conducting A Market Engagement Event In Relation To Gmca 1832, The Procurement Of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, Including Associated Equipment And Services.Market Engagement Will Take Place On The Working Days Between Monday 28Th September To Friday 9Th October (Inclusive). Individual Sessions Will Be Held, For Individual Interested Parties (Suppliers), Over The Course Of Two Days Each, Within The Time Frame Outlined Above.Suppliers Are Required To Formally Express Their Interest Via The Advert For This Project Within The Chest E-Procurement Portal (Https://Www.The-Chest.Org.Uk/).
