The Bid Security amount, equivalent to 1 % of the bidders quoted value, may be paid via the GovPay facility, paid in cash to the Shroff of the Central Environmental Authority, or deposited directly into Account No. 2937303 at the Bank of Ceylon, Pelawatta Branch or bid guarantee, issued by a commercial bank registered in Central Bank in Sri Lanka in favour of Chairman, Central Environmental Authority. The Bid Security shall remain valid until 16.11.2026. The original payment receipt must be submitted with the bid Bids perfected in duplicate, marked as "ORIGINAL" and "DUPLICATE", must be enclosed in separate sealed covers. Both covers shall then be sealed within a single outer envelope, clearly marked with the "Supply, Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance of Laboratory Equipment" on the top left-hand corner. Bids may either be sent by registered post to the address given below or deposited in the Tender Box located in the Lobby Area (near the Receptionist) at the main entrance of the Central Environmental Authority, No. 104, Parisara Piyasa, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla, to be received before 2.00 p.m. on 08.09.2026. Bids will be closed sharp at 2.00 PM on 08.09.2026 at 1st Floor Conference Hall, CEA and bids will be opened immediately after the closing time. Late bids, alternative bids/options, or bids sent electronically (via email) will not be accepted. Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present at the time of bid opening. Bids shall remain valid until 60 days (19.10.2026).
