The Planned New Purchase Is A Next Generation High-Throughput Sequencing Device For Human Genome Sequencing (“Sequencing Device”). Such A Device Is Needed To Ensure Modern Diagnostics Of Hereditary Diseases In Tyrol And Austria, To Take Into Account The Increasing Demands In The Research Of Rare Hereditary Diseases And To Enable Participation In National And International Research Projects, For Example In The Field Of Human Genome Research. The Sequencing Device Should Be Able To Carry Out Short-Read Genome Analyzes With A Read Length Of Around 70 To 150 Nucleotides In A Short Time And With High Sample Throughput. The Aim Is To Have A Capacity Of Around 4,000 Samples Per Year.
