The Epfl Hydraulic Machines Technology Platform (Ptmh) Wishes To Acquire, As A Turnkey Solution, The Modernization Of The Variable Speed Electric Drive Of The Main Supply Pump Of Its Test Bench (Pf1 Group). The Scope Includes The Supply, Installation And Commissioning Of A New Three-Phase Ac Motor Of Approximately 900 Kw And Its Associated Low-Voltage Frequency Converter, Replacing The Existing Dc Drive, As Well As All Mechanical And Electrical Interfaces With The Existing Installation. The Equipment Will Be Used For Hydraulic Performance Tests At Metrological Level (Iec 60193); The Focus Is On Long-Term Reliability, After-Sales Service Availability, Low Grid-Side Harmonic Distortion, Energy Harvesting Capability (Four Quadrants) And Integration With The Platforms Control And Acquisition System. Variations Are Permitted For The Drive Topology As Long As All Functional Requirements Are Met.
