Refurbishment Work – Project Announcement. The Object Of The Present Project Is The Fixing Of The Monument, The Removal Of The Newest Misguided Interventions And The Creation Of A Modern Multi-Site Culture. The Youth Complex Of This Proposal, Located In The Eastern Port Basin Of The Venetian Port, Has A Total Area Of ​​Approx. 4,175 Sq.M. And Consists Of Seven (7) Stone Vaulted Structures With Dimensions For Each Neorio Of Approximately 50 M. Length, 9 M. Width And An Average Height Of 10 M. They Communicate With Each Other With Arched Openings In The Thickness Of The Masonry And Each Dome Ends In A Triangular Pediment With An Accented Stone Cornice. Their Surfaces Were Covered With Red Korasani While On The South Side There Are Also The Unique Lighting Openings (A Round Skylight And Large Windows Per Neorio). Within The Framework Of The Proposed Project, The Following Works Are Foreseen: 1. Fixing And Strengthening Of The Structure Of The Building Complex. The Proposal Was Prepared After A Pathology Study, A Study Of The Structural Behavior Of The Building, Geological Identification And Laboratory Analysis Of Building Materials. Special Provision Is Made For The External Insulation Of The Domes And The Connection And Communication Of The Building Complex (Spatially And Vertically) With The Surrounding Area And The City. 2. Architectural Analysis And Architectural Proposal For The Neorio Building Complex And Proposal For The Reconstruction Of The South Gate. According To The Architectural Proposal, The Modest Later Masonry Of The North Face Is Replaced By New, Specially Designed, Glass Facades. Inside The Building Complex, New Configurations And Special Constructions Made Of Wood, Glass And Metal Are Foreseen, To Serve The Proposed Functions. Two Modules Are Created That Can Work Either Individually Or In Combination. The First Section Includes Neoria N1 To N4 And Is Planned To Function As A Space For Periodical Exhibitions And Other Events. The Second Section Includes Neoria N6 And N7 And Is Planned To Host A Space For Speeches And Performing Arts With A Capacity Of 170 People, While It Also Includes Office Spaces And A Refreshment Room. The Intermediate Neorio N5 Is The Entrance To The Building Complex And Includes The Shop And The Permanent Exhibition Of The Monument. 3. Proposal Of Electromechanical Installations And Lighting (Use/Highlight) And Energy Planning. With Regard To Energy Efficiency/Upgrading, The Interventions Designed, Taking Into Account The Limitations That Exist For Not Altering The Monument, Are Summarized As Follows: - Installation Of Thermal Insulation, In The Places Allowed By The Study - Installation Of Frames With Thermal Break, - Installation Of Led Lighting Fixtures - Air Conditioning Of The Space With Heat Pumps With A High Coefficient Of Efficiency
