The Bucharest National Research And Development Institute For Biological Sciences (Incdsb) Coordinates The Danubius-Ro Project At The National Level, Which Finances The Construction And Operationalization Of The Romanian Components Of The Pan-European Danubius-Ri Infrastructure: The Danube Delta Hub And Supersite. Danubius-Ro Is Constituted As A Complex Network Of Laboratories, Field Stations And Observation Points Intended For Monitoring The Marine, Coastal And Fluvial Environment, With An Emphasis On Areas Of Strategic Interest Such As The Danube Delta, The Black Sea Coast And The Lower Sector Of The Danube. The Continuous Development Of The Research Infrastructure Through The Applied Research Projects Carried Out By Incdsb And Its Partners In The Danube Delta Biosphere Area - Including Within The Framework Of National And European Programs Dedicated To Monitoring Natural Risks, Environmental Protection And Adaptation To Climate Change - Requires Special Attention To The Sustainability And Resilience Of The Ensemble Of Buildings Related To The Murighiol Hub. It Must Support Increasing Flows Of Scientific Data, Images And Complex Measurements From The Field, In Order To Transmit Them To The Processing And Analysis Centers In Murighiol, Tulcea, Galați, Constanța And Bucharest. In The Context Of Expanding The Network Of Observation Points And Increasing The Volume Of Information Generated By Monitoring And Research Equipment, It Became Necessary To Modernize The Integrated Processing Infrastructure Of The Collected Data. Therefore, It Is Necessary To Purchase Metaverse Platform Development Services And Implement A Digital Twin Management System For The Danubius-Ri Infrastructure Hub, Allowing The Unitary Integration Of The Data Collected Within The Hubs Laboratories And The Related Activities Of The Danube Delta Supersite For Monitoring The Marine And Fluvial Environment, Geodynamic Risks And Coastal Erosion Processes. This Infrastructure Will Contribute To The Improvement Of Analysis, Early Warning And Decision Support Capabilities, Strengthening The Role Of Incdsb And Institutional Partners In The Sustainable Management Of Resources And In The Efficient Organization Of Research Ecosystems Of National And European Importance.
