The Client Intends To Award General Contractor Services For The Renovation Of All Facades - With The Exception Of The West Facade That Has Already Been Completed -, The Associated Windows And Doors, The Access Systems (Including The Temple On The North Side) As Well As The Sealing And Rain Drainage Of The Terrace Including The Associated Wastewater Network In The Entire Tonhalle Düsseldorf Building. The Tonhalle Is A Concert Hall And An Architectural Landmark Of The City Of Düsseldorf. It Was Opened In Its Current Form And Use In 1978 And Has Since Undergone Numerous Renovations And Modernizations In Order To Preserve Its Functionality And Aesthetics. The Tonhalle Offers A Diverse Program, Ranging From Classical Concerts To Modern Music Events. The Renovation Work For The Facade And Terrace Includes In Particular The Following Parts Of The Building: - Renovation Of The Waterproofing Of The Entire Terrace (Horizontal Brick Surface, Steps, Railings, Cover Stones) - With The Exception Of The Western Facade Connection; - Facades In The North, East And South (Brick Surfaces, Natural Stone Surfaces, Windows, Doors); - Temple Access Facilities At The Corners Of The Building On The North Side With Renovation Of The Partially Damaged Mosaics; - Brick Staircase On The North Side. With Regard To The Renewal And Renovation Of The Sewage Network, The Contractor Should In Particular Carry Out The Following Measures: - Replacement Of The Rainwater Drains On The Terrace; - Removal Of Suspended Ceilings On The 2Nd Floor; - Renewing The Sewage Pipes While Protecting The Existing Installations; - Renewing The Lighting; - Installation Of Suspended Ceilings. The Client Had The Plans For Lph 1 - 5 Carried Out By An Architectural Office. On This Basis, The Contractor Should Provide The Necessary General Contracting Services. A Large Part Of The Work Must Be Scheduled In Such A Way That Performances And Rehearsals At The Tonhalle Remain Undisturbed.
