Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Gender issues Remuneration range: 2000 to 3000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 1 Month Background: ABAAD Resource Center for Gender Equality is a UN ECOSOC accredited organization that aims to achieve gender equality as an essential condition to sustainable social and economic development in the MENA region. ABAAD advocates for the development and implementation of policies and laws that enhance womens effective participation, through a rights-based approach that would bring about tangible change to gender justice. With the purpose of ending gender-based violence, ABAAD adopts a holistic care approach to provide protection and support services to GBV survivors/right holders during times of peace, war and disasters since 2011. Jina Al-Dar is a mobile bus that reaches remote and marginalized areas, towns, and villages across Lebanon, providing specialized services to address community challenges, particularly those arising from crises and contributing to community violence, including violence against women and girls. Jina Al-Dar supports host communities, refugees, and other vulnerable groups by providing immediate support and protection, while promoting resilience and strengthening connections to available protection and support services, particularly for women and girls. Under the NPA Project, ABAAD will organize 5 Jina Al-Dar rounds to provide, among other activities, children and adolescents aged 617 years with safe, inclusive, and engaging spaces to participate in recreational, educational, creative, psychosocial, and protection-oriented activities, contributing to their well-being, resilience, and access to child-friendly support. To support the effective implementation of these activities, ABAAD is seeking to engage a qualified facilitator to plan and deliver the agreed activities across the five Jina Al-Dar rounds, ensuring that sessions are age-appropriate, participatory, inclusive, and aligned with child safeguarding and protection principles. Overall goal of this assignment: The overall goal of this assignment is to provide qualified facilitation support for the implementation of the five Jina Al-Dar rounds under the NPA Project, ensuring that activities for children and adolescents aged 617 are safe, inclusive, participatory, age-appropriate, and aligned with child safeguarding and protection principles. Duties and responsibilities: Develop a brief activity plan and session outlines for the activities to be implemented during the five Jina Al-Dar rounds. Facilitate and deliver agreed recreational, educational, creative, psychosocial, and protection-oriented activities for children and adolescents aged 617. Adapt activities to the different age groups and needs of participants while ensuring an inclusive and child-friendly approach. Coordinate with the ABAAD/field team to ensure proper preparation and smooth implementation of activities during each round. Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with child safeguarding, protection, confidentiality, and do-no-harm principles. Document key observations, challenges, and outcomes throughout the implementation. Submit a brief consolidated final report covering the dates and locations of the rounds, number of children reached and relevant disaggregation, activities conducted, key observations and outcomes, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.
