Cytometers – Flow Cytometers. The Following Procurement Is Carried Out On Behalf Of The Faculty: The Erdf-Funded Project “Central German Cell Therapy Center (Mzz) - Location Of The University Medical Center Halle: Institute For Cell Therapy Halle (Izh)” Was Carried Out At The University Medical Center Halle (Process Number Of The Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt: Zs/2024/01/183691; Faculty-Internal Project Number: 2024_0238) Approved. This Project Also Has A Separately Approved Equipment Investment, Which Will Be Used To Expand The Equipment Inventory As Described Here. The Long-Term Goal Of The Project Is To Produce Cell Therapeutics Locally And Make Them Available To Our Patients. In Addition, Another Focus Formulated In The Application Is Preclinical-Translational Research Into New Cell Therapeutics And The Development Of New Manufacturing Methods. This Research Focus Requires An Expansion Of The Equipment Inventory To Include A Spectral Flow Cytometer For Analysis. This Device Is Intended To Carry Out Measurements Of Primary Cells After Antibody Or Other Cell Staining In Order To Allow Comprehensive Analyzes Of Cell Composition. The New Device To Be Purchased Is Required For Experiments With More Than 10 Markers To Be Evaluated. In Order To Accomplish This Flexibly, A Spectral Device Is Required That Records The Entire Spectrum Of The Respective Fluorochrome And Can Separate The Signals From Different Substances Even When Emission Maxima Are Close Together. It Will Contain Four Spatially And Temporally Separated Lasers In The Wavelength Range Of Red, Violet, Blue And Yellow-Green Light. The Option To Retrofit Additional Lasers Is Necessary. In Addition, It Should Have High Fluorescence Intensity And Scatter Intensity And Thus Also Detect And Display Small Or Less Fluorescence-Intensive Populations. In Addition, Measurements Of Individual Samples And Multi-Well Plates Should Be Possible. When Purchasing This New Device, The Following Must Also Be Included: If Necessary, A Monitor And Pc With Software For Control And Evaluation, An Installation Of The Hardware And Software, A Guarantee And Training Of The Staff. The Aim Is Therefore To Procure, Deliver, Install And Train Our Staff On A Suitable Spectral Flow Cytometer For Research.
