Fmi Is Carrying Out A Tender With A View To Entering Into An Agreement Regarding Operational Leasing Of Computers And Tablets For The Armed Forces Simulation Centres. Fmi Initially Intends To Lease 180 Desktops And 255 Tablets With An Expected Possible Later Take-Off Of 100 Laptops And 245 Tablets. However, The Exact Quantity Of The Contract Must Be Flexible, With Ongoing Possibility Of Both Upscaling And Downscaling In Accordance With The Provisions Of The Contract. The Exact Quantity During The Term Of The Agreement Can Therefore Differ In Both An Upward And Downward Direction. The Agreement Has A Term Of 3 Years With The Possibility Of Extension Up To A Total Of 5 Years. As Part Of The Leasing Service, The Supplier (Lessor) Must Provide Ongoing Support And Maintenance Of The Equipment, Including On-Site Support And Maintenance. The Equipment Must Be Able To Run Various Simulation Software Used By The Armed Forces, And The Minimum Requirements For The Equipment Are Set On The Basis Of Performance Requirements Based On This Use. The Supplier Must Therefore Be Able To Deliver Throughout The Country, And Since The Work Takes Place At The Defenses Locations, It Is A Requirement That The Suppliers Employees Must Be Security Approved. It Is A Requirement On Fmis Part That Delivery Must Take Place Within 130 Days From The Conclusion Of The Agreement, As Well As Whether It Can Be Delivered Faster.
