Tenders are invited for Issue of Special and Luxury Service Annual Passenger Transport Permits (Limited) A complete set of bid documents prepared in Sinhala language may be purchased by the interested bidders from the Galle District Office of the Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority situated at the Upper Floor of the Galle Bus Stand, and from the Head Office of the Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority, No. 67, Leynbaan Street, Fort, Galle between 8.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on working days from 03.08.2026 until 19.08.2026 and from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon on 20.08.2026 upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of Rupees One Thousand (Rs. 1,000/-) separately for each bid invitation. A pre bid meeting will be held at 11.00 a.m. on 10.08.2026 at the Head Office of the Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority. (For clarification purposes for those who intend to submit bids) Interested eligible and qualified bidders may obtain further information from the Head Office of this Authority and the bid documents may be inspected free of charge at the Head Office of the Authority during office hours. Bids will be closed at 2.00 p.m. on 20.08.2026 and will be opened thereafter. Duly perfected sealed bids in duplicate may either be sent by registered post addressed to Chairman, Procurement Committee, Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority, No. 67, Leynbaan Street, Fort, Galle or deposited in the Tender Box kept in this Authority to receive at or before the closing date and time.
