The New Building With Around 4,050 M² Of Usable Space Is Tailored To A Three-Class Primary School With A Two-Class Preschool For A Total Of Around 350 School Children. The Sankt Sophien Daycare Center With 4 Groups And Around 80 Children Will Be Integrated Into The Ground Floor Of The New Building. The Part Of The Ground Floor Used For School Is Accessed From The Schoolyard, Which Is Centrally Located Between The Church And The School, Via A Spacious Foyer With An Open Staircase And Another Staircase With An Elevator. The Cafeteria With Kitchen Area And The Auditorium Are Located On The Ground Floor. A Single-Field Sports Hall, Changing Rooms As Well As Storage And Technical Rooms Are Located In The Basement. The Classrooms, The Additional Educational Rooms And Common Areas As Well As The Administration Area Are Spread Over The Two Upper Floors. All Rooms Are Used For School Operations As Well As All-Day Care For School Children. The Multifunctional Use Of The Rooms Should Also Be Reflected In The Furnishings. In Addition To Enabling Contemporary Teaching, This Should, Above All, Offer A High Quality Of All-Day Stay For The Children And The Teaching Staff.
