Telephone And Data Transmission Services – Granting Of A Grant As Part Of The Wilü Funding By The City Of Waldenbuch. The City Of Waldenbuch Intends To Provide All Citizens In The Project Area With High-Performance Broadband Telecommunications Services. For This Purpose, The Construction And Operation Of A Comprehensive High-Speed Network In The Tendered Supply Areas As Well As The Provision Of The Necessary End Customer Services Are To Be Awarded. To Finance The Project, The City Of Waldenbuch Has Applied For Infrastructure Funding For The Expansion Of The So-Called “White Spots” As Part Of The Federal Directive To Promote Broadband Expansion In The Federal Republic Of Germany. The Corresponding Preliminary Funding Decision From The Federal Government Is Already Available. In Addition, An Application Was Made To The State Of Baden-Württemberg For Co-Financing Based On The Administrative Regulations Of The Ministry Of The Interior, For Digitalization And Municipalities Of Baden-Württemberg For Co-Financing Of Federal Funding (Vwv Broadband Co-Financing). The States Provisional Funding Decision Is Also Available For This. The Aim Of This Award Procedure Is To Select A Suitable Network Operator Who Will Provide Market-Standard Broadband Services Across The Entire Advertised Project Area From July 2027 And Who Will Operate The Nga Network Built Within The Framework Of Federal And State Funding On A Long-Term Basis. The Concessionaire Is Obliged To Plan, Build, Commission And Operate A Functional And Future-Proof High-Speed Network For The Entire Term Of The Contract. To The Extent That This Is Technically Possible And Economically Sensible, Existing Network Infrastructures And Existing Public Infrastructures Must Be Used. In Addition, Network Components From Third Parties Can Be Rented If This Contributes To The Economic Implementation Of The Project. The Concessionaire Is Responsible In Particular For The Following Services And Obligations: • Planning And Construction Of The Passive Broadband Infrastructure Including All Necessary Network Components, • Installation, Commissioning And Operation Of The Active Network Technology, • Ensuring Efficient And Non-Discriminatory Network Operation, • Provision Of Standard Market Telecommunications Services For End Customers (In Particular Internet, Telephony And, If Applicable, Television Services) At Standard Market Conditions, • Provision Of Non-Discriminatory Wholesale Products On An Open Access Basis At Standard Market Conditions In Accordance With The Requirements Of Broadband Funding. Network Operation Must Be Ensured In Compliance With The Applicable Funding Regulations Of The Federal Government And The State Of Baden-Württemberg As Well As The Regulatory Requirements.
