The programme aims to improve learning outcomes, strengthen education governance and accountability mechanisms, enhance planning and data management systems, and establish transparent and efficient financial management frameworks. Through investments in system capacity, policy implementation, and institutional coordination, the STG contributes to building a more effective, accountable, and resilient education system. Together, the GEA and STG programmes represent MoECHEs commitment to achieving sustainable improvements in Somalias education sector by increasing access to quality primary education, improving foundational literacy and numeracy skills, strengthening education systems, and ensuring that all childrenparticularly girls and other vulnerable groupshave equitable opportunities to learn and succeed.
