Sp27tem660 - Excavator Site Preparation – Kamloops & Merritt Tsa'S . The Proposed Contract Is For Approximately 217.5 Hectares Of Excavator - Mechanical Site Preparation Within The Kamloops And Merritt Timber Supply Areas. Work Will Span Various Site Conditions, Including Operations In Remote Or Isolated Locations. Deliverables Will Be Scheduled For Completion Throughout The Fiscal Year In Alignment With Business Area Requirements And The Approved Work Progress Plan And Schedules. To Achieve The Targeted Number Of Prepared Planting Spots Per Hectare, A Combination Of Mechanical Treatment Methods May Be Employed. These Methods May Include: • Mounding In Wet Or Heavy Organic Areas • Screefing To Remove Competing Vegetation And Root Mats • Piling Heavy Slash Accumulations To Expose Plantable Mineral Soil
