Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe Ag Is Fundamentally Modernizing The North Bus Depot In The Second Construction Phase In Order To Enable The Complete Electrification Of The Fleet By 2030. The Core Is The Adaptation Of The Parking Concept: In The Future, Buses Will Be Parked In Parking Blocks With Steel Traverses For Loading Hoods. The Charging Infrastructure Is Bundled In An Elevated Technology Block. The Traffic Areas And Surface Drainage Will Be Completely Renovated. The Wash Hall Will Be Completely Renovated For Use By Electric Buses And Will Be Provided With A Work Pit. In Addition, The Workshop Will Be Expanded To Include Seven Workstations And The Dispatch Building Will Be Renovated To Improve Energy Efficiency And A Two-Story Extension Will Be Added. The Existing Spare Parts Warehouse Will Be Modernized And Provided With New Equipment. All Measures Are Implemented While Maintaining Bus And Workshop Operations. The Tendered Services Include Civil Engineering And Marking Work In Connection With The Preparation Of The Construction Site Facilities As Well As The Establishment Of The Construction Electricity And Construction Water Supply For The Construction Project. Another Focus Of The Services Is The Delivery, Assembly, Maintenance And Dismantling Of Container Systems Over A Period Of Approximately 41 Months.
