Test Benches – Load-Free Axlebox Test Bench For The S-Bahn Berlin Gmbh. S-Bahn Berlin Gmbh Carries Out The Remanufacturing Of Axle Drives Of The S-Bahns Own Vehicles In The Main Workshop In Schöneweide. These Include The Br 480, Br 481/482 And Br 483/484. After The Reconditioning, A Flushing And A Load-Free Functional Test Of The Gearboxes Is Required In Order To Remove Impurities From The Reconditioning Process And To Ensure That The Gearboxes Function Properly During Operation. The Test Stand Foundation Must Be Planned And Manufactured By The Client In Accordance With The Bidders Requirements. This Publication Relates To The Production, Delivery, Assembly, Commissioning, Training, Trial Operation And Final Acceptance Of A Load-Free Final Drive Test Bench Including All Necessary Peripherals For The Main Schöneweide Workshop Of S-Bahn Berlin Gmbh. Only The Axleboxes Of The Vehicles Used By The Berlin S-Bahn (Br 480, Br 481/482 & Br 483/484) Are To Be Tested On The Machine. The Test Stand Must Be Suitable For The Following Tasks/Functions: --- Rotatable Mounting And Storage Of The Wheelset Shaft Mounted On The Axlebox - Storage Takes Place At The Bearing Seats Of The Wheelset Shaft Using Fixed And Floating Bearings --- Anti-Rotation Protection Of The Axlebox In A Defined Zero Position On The Test Stand Via The Torque Support --- Mounting Of The Test Stand Components On A Solid T-Slot Base Plate (Installed At Ground Level) - Incl. Max.
