The Düsseldorf University Hospital Intends To Convert An Existing Ward Into A Modern Nuclear Medicine Therapy Ward And Functionally Adapt It. The Background To This Measure Is The Current Lack Of Possibility To Carry Out Nuclear Medicine Therapies On An Inpatient Basis At The Ukd. However, The Establishment Of A Separate Ward Is Absolutely Necessary In Order To Ensure Both Existing Patient Care And To Be Able To Implement Future Developments In Nuclear Medicine Diagnostics And Therapy, Especially In The Area Of So-Called Theranostics.
