Microelectronic Machinery And Apparatus – Acquisition And Commissioning Of A Closed Circuit Helium Cryostat (1K) Dedicated To The Characterization Of Integrated Photonic Circuits For The Cea Of Grenoble.. For Its Research Activities, Cea-Leti Wishes To Acquire A Closed Helium Circuit Cryostat (1K) Dedicated To The Characterization Of Integrated Photonic Circuits, With A View To Conducting Experiments And Measurements At Very Low Temperatures. This Request Is Part Of The Oqulus Project (Pepr Quantum Technologies), Funded As Part Of The National Quantum Strategy (France 2030), Aimed At The Development Of Optical Quantum Computers. The Ceas Objective Is To Equip Itself With A Robust And Versatile Cryogenic System Dedicated To The Development Of New Generation Quantum Devices. The Requested Equipment Will Be Used For The Characterization Of Components And Circuits In The Field Of Integrated Photonics (Pics) Comprising Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors (Snspd). These Detectors Require A Cryogenic Environment In Order To Reach The Superconducting Regime And Ensure Optimal Performance In Terms Of Detection Efficiency And Measurement Noise, Conditioning The Operating Temperature Of The Desired Cryostat (<1K).
