Project Background:The Water Treatment Plants (Wtp) At Beauvais And Chain Lakes Provincial Parks (Lpp), Along With The Water Cistern At Police Outpost Provincial Park (Opp), Require Replacement Of Their Existing Control Systems. The Current Wtp Hmi And Plc Equipment Is Obsolete, Unsupported, And Inconsistent With Control Systems And The Water Cistern Does Not Have Automated Systems In Place For Chlorination. As Critical, Long‑Life Assets, These Systems Are Essential To Maintaining A Safe Potable Water Supply; Continued Reliance On Aging Technology Increases The Risk Of System Failures That Could Compromise Health And Safety And Result In Service Interruptions.Upgrading The Water Control Systems Will Improve Reliability, Operability, And Standardization, While Reducing Lifecycle Costs Associated With Emergency Repairs And Operator Callouts. Combining The Three Sites Into A Single Project Supports A Coordinated And Efficient Approach To Design And Implementation, Minimizes Duplication Of Effort, And Enhances Consistency Across Facilities.Project Objective:Replace The Obsolete Hmi And Plc Control Systems At Beauvais Lake, Chain Lakes, And Police Outpost Provincial Parks With Modern, Standardized Systems To Improve Reliability, Operability, And Ensure Continued Delivery Of Safe Potable Water. The Project Will Be Delivered As A Single, Coordinated Initiative For Consistent Design And Implementation From Procurement And Installation Through To Programming And Commissioning.Refer To The Rfq Document For Additional Information And Complete Scope Of Work.
