Expansion Analyzers – Distributed Acoustic Sensing Meter And Accessories (Ov Pr1258155). Distributed Acoustic Sensing (Das) In Optical Fibers Detects Dynamic Strains Or Sound Waves By Measuring The Phase Or Amplitude Changes Of Rayleigh Scattered Light. This Is In Contrast To Other Distributed And More Conventional Methods Such As Distributed Temperature Measurement (Dts) Or Distributed Strain Measurement (Dss), Which Measure Quasi-Static Physical Quantities Such As The Intensity Spectrum Of Scattered Light. Das Is Receiving A Lot Of Attention Because It Complements Conventional Distributed Measurements. To Implement Das In Commercial Applications, It Is Necessary To Ensure A Sufficiently High Signal-To-Noise Ratio (Snr) For Scattered Light Detection, Suppress Its Degradation Along The Sensor Fiber, Achieve A Lower Noise Level For Weak Signals, And, Moreover, Perform High-Speed Processing Within Milliseconds Or Sometimes Even Faster. Thats Why This Investment Pays Particular Attention To The Ratio Of The Useful Signal To The Interference Signal, The Signal-To-Noise Ratio. Typical Applications Include Seismic Profiling, Vibration Monitoring, Noise Detection And Intrusion Detection. The Device Is Used Offshore, Which Places Special Requirements On The Specification. It Is Planned That The Measuring Device Will Be Used Permanently Offshore On A Platform In The Baltic Sea. The System Is Funded By The Infraboost Program Of The Federal Ministry Of Economics With The Funding Number 03Sxi163. Please See The Tender Documents For Details.
