Tenders are invited for Procurement of Service for Loading, Transporting and Unloading of Concrete Loads & Frames to Victoria Power Station. Price of Bid Document LKR 5,000/- Chairman of the above Procurement Committees, on behalf of the Electricity Generation Lanka (Private) Limited, now invites sealed Bids from potential Suppliers for the above mentioned items on the basis of International/National competitive bidding. Bids should be submitted only on the bid documents purchased from the relevant Power Station in Column 4. Bidding Documents will be issued only to the prospective Bidders or their accredited Agents. Wherever necessary they should get registered in terms of the Public Contracts Act No.3 of 1987. Bidding Documents could be purchased by any prospective bidders or their accredited Agents on submission of a written request to the respective Chief Engineer of Power Stations upon payment of the amount indicated in Column 5 of the above table for each set of Bid Documents, between 09.00 hrs. and 15.00 hrs. on any working days till the day prior to the bid closing date. Payment shall be made in cash or by bank draft drawn in favour of the Electricity Generation Lanka (Private) Limited. Payments may also be deposited at any branch to the credit of the Mahaweli Complex Collection Account maintained at Peoples Bank, Headquarters Branch, Account No. 20420-03-10017517, and the original bank slip shall be produced as proof of payment. Foreign Diplomatic Missions/Trade Commissions may obtain information copies of the Bidding Documents, free of charge on submission of a written request. Bidding Documents may be inspected by the prospective bidders or their Agents at the office of the respective Director free of charge. Bids will be opened immediately after the closing time of the bidding in the presence of bidders and their authorized representatives. Late bids shall be rejected. All clarifications shall be sought at least two weeks prior to the bid closing date from the Chief Engineers of the relevant Power Stations.
