Tenders Are Invited For H2 Hollow-Specimen Setup in Finland

The Purpose Of This Call For Tenders Is The Procurement Of A Device (Hereinafter Also Referred To As The Setup) That Facilitates Mechanical Testing, E.G., Tensile Testing, With Hollow Specimens That Are Internally Pressurised With Gaseous Hydrogen (H2). The Setup To Be Procured Must Cover Fixtures To The Testing Machine And The Specimen, Gas/Vacuum Management, And Pressurisation. The Setup Must Facilitate Workflow Where The Test Specimens Are Purged With Nitrogen (N2), Emptied With A Vacuum Pump, And Then Before Mechanical Testing Filled With High-Pressure H2. The Intended Loading Scenarios Cover Dynamic Cyclic Loading, Quasi-Static Loading, And Holding At A Set Tensile Load. The Intended Testing Temperatures Cover Low Sub-Zero Temperatures And Elevated Temperatures. The Procurement Is Funded By The Council Of Oulu Region, European Regional Development Fund, Erdf (State-Of-The Art H2 Project). The Contracting Entity Has A Maximum Sum Of 112 500 Eur (Excluding Value-Added Tax) Available For The Procurement And Cannot Accept Tenders Exceeding This Amount.
