Technical Testing, Analysis And Consultancy Services – Provision Of Technical Advice – Feasibility Study Climate Adaptation. It Has Been Decided By The Agreement On Acceleration Package For Coastal Protection Of 24 October 2025 That 11 State Feasibility Studies And 3 Screenings Of Coastal Protection Projects Distributed Throughout Denmark Must Be Initiated. The Feasibility Study Contains A Proposal For A Possible Coastal Protection Project, Including Technical Solutions, Considerations For The Environment And Nature, Budget Estimates, Socio-Economic Impact Calculations, Etc. The Feasibility Study Can Be Used As A Basis For Political Decision-Making To Possibly Initiate Detailed Planning And An Environmental Impact Assessment Prior To The Installation Of Coastal Protection. The Coastal Directorate Prepares The State Feasibility Studies In Collaboration With The Municipalities Concerned. The Consultant Agreement Relates To Assistance For The Coastal Directorates Implementation Of These Feasibility Studies And Screenings In The Form Of Technical And Environmental Consultancy Services. The Consultant Agreement Involves The Development Of Several Buildable Civil Engineering Solutions, Which Must Be Prepared At A Level Of Detail That Is Sufficient For The Preparation Of Financial Estimates, Which Must Also Be Carried Out By The Consultant. At The Same Time, A Screening Must Be Made For/Mapping Which Relevant Environmental Studies Will Have To Be Included In A Later Preparation Of An Environmental Impact Assessment. The Environmental Impact Assessments Are Not Part Of The Task. The Level Of Knowledge For The Individual Sections Included In The Feasibility Studies/Screenings Varies Greatly, Just As The Complexity Of The Facilities Varies Accordingly. The Scope And Content Of The Advisory Services Will Therefore Also Be Different For The Individual Section, And Will Be Determined Finally In Connection With The Start Of The Feasibility Study On The Individual Section. On An Overall Level, However, The Individual Feasibility Studies Are Expected To Include All Or Parts Of The Following (Non-Exhaustive) Services: • Preparation Of One Or More Buildable Construction Engineering Solutions At A Level Of Detail Which Can Form An Adequate Basis For The Preparation Of Valid Construction Estimates At Preliminary Project Level. • Preparation Of Reports For Construction Engineering Solutions Based On Existing Data And Carrying Out Any Relevant Studies. • Elaboration Of Screening Of The Coastal Protection Facilities On The Entire Feasibility Study Section In Accordance With The Environmental Assessment Act, So That A Clarification Is Made As To Whether The Preliminary Project May Have A Significant Impact On The Environment, And Whether An Environmental Impact Assessment Must Be Prepared Later.
