The Research Area Basically Consists Of Buildings Within The Boundaries Of The Municipality Of Hulst. In Addition To Regular Residential Buildings, Special Objects Within Or Directly Adjacent To These Boundaries Must Be Explicitly Considered, Substantiating Which Objects Are Ecologically Relevant And Which Research Effort Is Appropriate. The Assignment Is Expected To Include: • Desk Research And Data Inventory; • Area-Wide Quick Scan; • Species-Oriented Ecological Research And Baseline Measurement; • Analysis Of Protected Building-Dwelling Species; • Effect Determination; • Drawing Up A Draft And Final Smp; • Mitigation And Compensation Strategy; • Monitoring And Evaluation Plan; • Process, Administration And Management Plan; • Gis Dataset, Map Layers, Metadata And Data Transfer; • Coordination With Authorities The Contractor Is Responsible For The Coherence Between Research, Analysis, Effect Determination, Planning, Permit Application, Gis Data, Monitoring And Transfer. In Preparation For The Field Work And The Preparation Of The Species Management Plan, An Area-Wide Quick Scan Is Carried Out. The Quick Scan Is Used To Determine Whether Area Expansion Is Necessary And Whether Animal Species Are Added To The Research. Expansion Of Areas And Species Takes Place In Consultation With The Municipality Of Hulst. Research Area The Primary Research Area Consists Of The Built-Up Areas Within The Municipality Of Hulst, As Provisionally Shown On The Concept Map “Common Boundaries Of The Municipality Of Hulst” Provided By The Municipality Of Hulst. This Limitation Is Not Yet Final And Can Be Adjusted Or Further Specified Prior To Publication Of The Tender. The Rural Area Does Not Belong To The Primary Scope, Unless Additional Research Outside The Boundaries Proves To Be Ecologically Or Permit-Technically Necessary For A Permit-Worthy Substantiation Of The Smp. In Addition To Regular Residential Buildings, Tenderers Must Explicitly Take Into Account Special Objects Within Or Directly Adjacent To The Provisional Boundaries In Their Research Strategy. This Includes Churches, Chapels, Monuments, Municipal Real Estate, Social Real Estate, Schools, Sports Facilities, Healthcare Real Estate, Apartment Complexes, High-Rise Buildings, Cemetery Buildings, Mills, Towers, Old Utility Buildings And Other Ecologically Relevant Buildings. These Special Objects Are Not All Designated In Advance As Fully Subject To Investigation. The Future Contractor Is Expected To Substantiate In The Research Strategy Which Objects Are Ecologically Relevant, Which Research Efforts Are Appropriate And How Relevant Habitats, Maternity Locations, Mass Winter Habitats, Nesting Sites Or Functional Habitats Are Prevented From Being Left Out Of The Picture. The Final Research Boundaries, Object Categories And Any Object List Are Determined In The Tender Documents. Building-Dwelling Protected Species At A Minimum, The Building-Dwelling Bats, Swifts, House Sparrows, House Martins And Stone Martens Are Included In The Study (Possibly Only As An Indication Species). Possible Expansion Is Possible Based On The Quick Scan.
