The Planned Extent Of The Kindergarten Building Under Construction Is A Total Of Approximately 2,747 Gross Square Meters. The Contract Also Includes The Demolition Of The Old Daycare Building Currently On The Construction Site And The Construction Of The New Buildings Playground. The Contract Is Defined In More Detail In The Annexes To The Request For Tender. The City Council Has Approved The Project Plan In March 2025. The Construction Permit Was Obtained In April 2026 And The Demolition Permit Was Obtained In September 2024. The Construction Site Of The Project Is Located In The Mellunkylä District Of Helsinki At The Street Address Naapurintie 14, 00940 Helsinki. The Aim Is To Sign The Contract In September 2026, And The Target Start Time For Construction Work Is October-November 2026. The Anticipated Completion Time Of The Construction Is Approximately Twenty Months, During Which All Works Must Be Completed And Received With Approval, And The Inspections Required By The Authorities Must Be Held With Approval By The End Of May 2028.
