Agricultural Services – Carrying Out Trace Gas Measurements To Determine Total Methane Emissions. This Tender Concerns Participation In The Project Dometek Under The Management Of The Technical University Of Denmark (Dtu). The Purpose Of The Project Is To Document The Effectiveness Of Methane-Reducing Measures For Pig Farming. In The Project, Methane Emissions Are Measured At Farm Level (Stable + Warehouse) For Different Farms With And Without Measures. The Measurements Must Be Carried Out With Sufficient Precision And Robustness To Be Included In Denmarks National Emissions Inventory. The Emissions Measurements Are Carried Out Over A Full Calendar Year, So That The Documentation Includes Relevant Seasonal Variations And Operating Conditions, Reflects Farm Practice And Ensures Transferability To A National Scale. In The Project, Absolute Methane Emissions Are Determined From Farms With Frequent Venting (New Reference Practice), Biogasification Of Manure And Acidification Of Manure, Which Represent Mature Technologies Developed, Tested And Implemented On Danish Pig Farms, Whereby The Reduction Potential For Full-Scale Application Is Achieved. The Main Results Of The Project Are Annual Methane Emission Rate, Emission Factors And Reduction Efficiencies Representative Of The Three Farm Practices. In This Connection, Dtu Wants Assistance For Carrying Out These Trace Gas Measurements. Only Trace Gas Measurements (The Tdm Method) Are Used To Determine Methane Emissions, With Which The Supplier Must Have Relevant Experience As Stated In The Requirements Specification. The Agreement Only Involves Carrying Out Trace Gas Measurements To Determine Total Methane Emission On 12 Farms With 6 Measurements On Each Of These. This Means A Total Number Of Measurements Of 72.
