The Thm Intends To Take The Lead In Concluding A Framework Agreement For Lan And Wlan Components For A Total Of Six Hessian Universities (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Frankfurt University Of Applied Sciences, Fulda University Of Applied Sciences, Offenbach University Of Design, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt And Technical University Of Darmstadt). Components From The Manufacturer Hpe Have Been Used At Thm And At The Other Participating Universities For Many Years. These Form The Basis Of The Existing, Largely Homogeneous Network Landscapes. In Order To Ensure Interoperability, Operational Reliability And The Economic Continuation And Expansion Of The Existing Infrastructure, The Use Of Compatible Systems Is Necessary. Given The Severely Limited Personnel Resources At The Facilities And The Associated Effort For Operating Heterogeneous System Landscapes, The Tender Is Therefore Manufacturer-Specific.
