Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Children & Youth, Development, Education, Social & Cultural Development, Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: < 1000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 36 hours of technical training (delivered over 12 days, 3 hours/day); subject to be repeated About Ruwwad Al Tanmeya Ruwwad Al Tanmeya is a community development organization based in Tripoli, Lebanon, working with disenfranchised communities through education, youth volunteerism, civic engagement, and grassroots organizing. Ruwwad runs community programs and space, and implements livelihood and employment initiatives targeting vulnerable youth and women in the north of Lebanon. About the Project Under the program Empowering Refugee and Vulnerable Youth & Women through Skills and Employment Pathways in partnership with GlocalShift and the strategic partner Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, Ruwwad Al Tanmeya is implementing a 12-month vocational training and employability initiative in Tripoli targeting 300 youth aged 1835, with a focus on refugees, women, and persons with disabilities. The program delivers structured technical and soft-skills training across three sectors Cosmetology, Hospitality, and Tech & IT followed by a one-month paid internship placement with partner employers. Training topics were selected based on a structured labor market needs assessment conducted with employers across Tripoli. Scope of Work Ruwwad Al Tanmeya is seeking a qualified and experienced trainer to design and deliver 36 hours of Basic IT Support & Digital Administration technical training as part of the Projects vocational training cycle. The selected trainer will be responsible for: Topics to be covered: Designing a training course outline covering basic IT support (hardware troubleshooting, operating systems, networking basics, helpdesk fundamentals) and digital administration (Excel, email, document creation and formatting), and submitting it for Ruwwads review and approval before delivery. Trainers are encouraged to include any additional topics they consider essential or currently in demand within the scope of this training. Delivering all technical training sessions in person at Ruwwads community center in Tripoli Conducting a practical simulated helpdesk and admin task assessment at the end of the training cycle Providing brief feedback on trainee readiness for internship placement Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT support, helpdesk, systems administration, or digital office operations Strong working knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, common operating systems, networking basics, and Microsoft Office tools Prior experience training or mentoring trainees is an asset Comfortable working with young adults from vulnerable and refugee backgrounds Based in or able to regularly commute to Tripoli for in-person delivery Required Documents CV Course outline with proposed topics and time distribution by topic in addition to materials needed Financial proposal or quotation Relevant certificates or credentials Reference(s) from previous related training experience (if any) MOF registration number (if available, if not provided, 8.5% will be deducted from the total amount).
