Jun 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Advocacy & Awareness Remuneration range: > 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: Maximum of 4 weeks Considering the multi-layered crisis and divisions that characterize the country, the project aims at leveraging multi-level (individual, community, national, policy and reform) responses that contribute to social cohesion, focusing on three key dimensions: drivers of tensions at the community level; conflict prevention processes and awareness raising; mainstreaming of community level social cohesion into programming, with particular focus on the EU. The WEAM project seeks to address drivers of social and political tensions within and among communities in Lebanon by building on locally led solutions and responses and by developing and disseminating gender-responsive tools and methods for conflict prevention and resolution. By involving a variety of stakeholders civil society, community groups, religious, political, media and private sector actors, donor community and the wider audience - with a participatory approach, the project will help building consensus and produce recommendations to mainstream social cohesion into EU community-based development programs.As part of the project, ALEF has sub-granted 13 WG PASC organizations under stream 2 of WEAM. These PASC organizations have been implementing their own social cohesion projects in different areas across the country. Background for the ConsultancyALEF is looking for a consultant, to develop a Good Practices Replication Guide. This consultancy focuses on identifying good practices of projects implemented by 13 organizations having received financial grants under Stream 2 of the WEAM project. The consultant should cover the review of the subgrants under Stream 2 (a total of 13 organizations), the identification of their Good Practices, and the establishment of a clear replication guide that will portray the findings of Stream 2. As part of their work, the selected consultant will be working closely with the grantees of Stream 2 to go through their projects, and identify potential Good Practices. This will entail a series of meetings which can be done online or in person, based on the agreed modality with each subgrantee. Those with identified Good Practices will then proceed in further discussions with the selected consultant with close support from ALEF and the Consortium partners. The Consultant will be granted access to the first round of work completed with 11 subgrantees under Lot 2 and will be required to continue the work to cover all 13 subgrantees under stream 2 of WEAM. Scope of WorkThe Consultant will be responsible for the following:1. Schedule an inception meeting with ALEF and partners to gather needed information and address any issues requiring clarifications. 2. Review previous related work done by the ALEF under the first and second phase of the subgranting. 3. Schedule meetings with the 13 subgrantees under Stream 2, review their grants, and identify all good practices. 4. Identify a list of good practice, with clear explanation of method of implementation. Develop the Good Practices Replication Guide and share it with ALEF team for review. Vacancy PeriodThe consultancy is expected to be delivered by end of July 2026. A more detailed timeframe can be agreed upon with the consultant. Qualifications Advanced university degree in Statistics, Economics, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related field experience; Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, and research for CSOs or NGOs; Fluency in English and good knowledge of Arabic; and Strong writing, communication, and coordination skills.
