Within The Framework Of Decree 123/2005, Of June 14, On Measures To Prevent Forest Fires In Urbanizations Without Immediate Continuity With The Urban Plot, Which Deploys Law 5/2003 Of April 22, As Well As With Regard To The Protection Of People And The Conservation Of River Environments And The Natural Environment, Municipal Environmental Services Have Informed: - That Due To The Orographic And Biotic Characteristics Of Its Territory, The Municipality Of Bigues And Riells Is Considered High Risk For Forest Fires. - That In The Territory Of Bigues And Riells There Is The Pein Area Of ​​The Cingles Del Bertí, As Well As The Declaration Of Areas Included In The Natura 200 Network Due To Zepa, Especially Due To The Presence Of The Barred Eagle As A Species Of Special Protection. Therefore, In Terms Of Fire Prevention, As Well As Conservation Of The Natural And Environmental Values ​​Of The Territory Of Bigues And Riells, It Is Necessary To Plan A Forest Surveillance Service In The Summer Season, Both Because Of The Greater Influx Of People To The Area And The Natural Environment In General, And Because Of The Greater Risk Of Fire For Climatological Reasons. For This Purpose, The Following Service Is Contracted: - Forest Surveillance Service By 2 Rural Guards For Service On Foot And Provision Of All-Terrain Vehicle, To Protect The Natural Values ​​Of The Area Included Along The Bigues And Riells Del Fai River Path And Especially In The Area Between The Pineda And La Madella Paths In The Riells Del Fai Sector.
