The Sports Service Organizes The Promotion And Practice Of Sport, Promoting And Organizing Physical Activity Programs, To Encourage Actions To Transmit The Values ​​On Which The Municipal Sports Policies Are Based And To Facilitate Sports Facilities So That The Entities, Athletes, Groups And Citizens Of Sant Adrià De Besòs Can Carry Out Their Activities. Among Others, One Of The Missions Of The Sports Service Is To Organize Physical Activity Programs For Specific Groups, And This Line Of Action Includes The Physical Activity Program For The Elderly That We Will Call:Activat + 60. This Program Has Been Running For More Than 30 Years, Is Carried Out Annually On An Ordinary Basis And Consists Of The Organization Of A Physical Activity Program Addressed To The Elderly In Our Municipality. In This New Program, Fitness Sessions Are Incorporated In Order To Offer New Activities To All Participants, As Well As Introducing New Physical Work Systems That Improve The Physical Conditions Of The Participants. The Basic Purpose Of The Program Is To Promote Healthy Lifestyle Habits, Safety And Others That Favor A Better Quality Of Life In People Over 60 Years Old. The Program Is Implemented Territorially In Two Neighborhoods Of The City, A Fact That Facilitates Proximity To Users, It Is Offered With Various Time Slots That Guarantee Participation. The Protected Price Allows Access To Regular Sports Practice For This Group In Our City.
