For Example, Various Robot Solutions Have Been Implemented For The Storage, Distribution And Dispensing Of Medicines At Patient Level. Although There Is Now An Accurate Picture Of The Stocks Of Medicines In The Central Pharmacy, This Is Still Lacking In The Other Steps Within The Logistics Process, Including The Goods Receipt And The Decentralized Department Stocks. To Further Optimize Medicine Logistics In The Nursing Wards And Gain Real-Time Insight Into The Entire Medicine Flow; From Receipt, Storage And Preparation To Distribution To Departments And Patients, Amsterdam Umc Is Investigating The Use Of Automated Dispensing System Cabinets (Ads Cabinets) In The Nursing Department.
