In The Operations And Financial Plan 2024 – 2027, The Municipal Council In Sandnes, As Part Of A Larger Rehabilitation Of Kinokino, Has Decided To Replace The Audience Chairs In The Building, And Wishes To Enter Into A Contract For The Purchase, Delivery And Installation Of New Chairs In Hall 1 And Hall 2. The Original Town Hall Theatre, Now Called Kinokino, Is A Listed Building Erected In The Period 1938 To 1941 As Sandnes New Town Hall And Cinema. The Space Then Housed Municipal Offices, A Library And A Cinema, In Addition To A Distribution Station And Offices For The Electricity Board. Sandnes Municipality And Sandnes Elverk Were The Builders. The Architects Were Gustav Helland And Sverre Brandsberg Dahl. The Style Is Distinctly Modernist With Elements Of Art Nouveau. The Building Stands Out As A Harmonious Building With Good Proportions. The House Has Preserved A High Degree Of Originality In The Exterior And In Parts Of The Interior, Among Other Things The Cinema Hall Is Of A Rare High Quality. The House Is Typical Of The Period And A Particularly Fine Example Of The Architects Functionalism. The Competition Applies To The Purchase, Delivery And Installation Of 141 New Chairs For Floor 1 94 New Chairs For Floor 2 In Kinokino In Sandnes Municipality As Described In The Tender Documents With Attachments. The Supplier Must Have The Capacity And Execution Ability To Complete The Contract Within The Final Deadline Of 18 December 2026. Sandnes Municipality Intends To Enter Into A Contract With One Supplier, Provided That There Are Suitable Suppliers And Offers In The Competition.
