The City Of Bad Berleburg Is Planning To Expand What Is Now A Farm Road Into A Cycle Path Southwest Of Alersthausen. The Length Of The Planned Section Is Around 800 M. Todays Farm Road Has A Paved Width Of Around 3.00 M. As Far As The Local Topography Allows, The Plan The Widening To 3.50 M Plus Banquets On Both Sides. The Standard Cross-Section Results From The Future Use As A Cycle Path And As A Mixed Traffic Area For Agricultural Traffic. The Shoulder Width Is 0.50 M. The Existing Asphalt Surface Is Damaged And Shows Numerous Cracks. Thus, A Full Expansion With A Superstructure Of 0.55 M. The New Paving Consists Of An Asphalt Base And A Lightened Top Layer. There Is No Separate Drainage And There Will Be No Plans For It In The Future.
