The Werl Municipal Company Is Planning To Build A New Public Combined Sewer System On Feldstrasse. The Measure Is Based On The Sönnern Central Wastewater Plan (Zap) And Is Anchored In The Wastewater Disposal Concept (Abk) 2021 Of The Pilgrimage Town Of Werl. The Aim Of The Project Is To Sustainably Improve The Drainage Situation In The Sönnern District. To Hydraulically Relieve The Sewage System In The Town Center, An Approximately 320 Meter Long Relief Canal Made Of Reinforced Concrete With A Nominal Width Of Dn 800 Is To Be Built. The Planned Route Extends From The Feldstrasse/Lambertweg Intersection To The Southern End Of Feldstrasse. In The Future, The New Sewer Route Will Allow Wastewater From The Northern Catchment Area To Bypass The Town Center, So That The Sewage System In Antoniusstrasse In Particular Will Be Significantly Relieved.
