Construction Work – Electrical And Data Installation – Main Building Dornheimer Weg 24. The Building With An Inner Courtyard Was Originally Planned And Built As A Workshop In The 1960S. In The Mid-1970S An Addition Was Made So That The Building Now Consists Of 4 Floors. After A Change Of Use In 2012, It Is Now An Administration Building. The Building Will Remain Partially Operational During Construction. The Basement Contains Mostly Workshops And Storage Areas. The Remaining Floors Mainly Contain Office Space And A Canteen. The Construction Project Is Divided Into 4 Construction Phases From The Basement To The 2Nd Floor. This Ensures Parallel Operation With The Existing System With As Few Disruptions As Possible. The Construction Site Facilities Are Located Outside The Building. Material And Waste Containers Are Positioned Directly On The Building, While The Personnel Containers Are Placed In The Immediate Vicinity. Sanitary Facilities Are Provided On Site. The Electrical Contractor Is Responsible For Setting Up And Maintaining The Construction Site Power Supply And Lighting. The Entire 230V Installation Including Distribution And Parapet Duct Will Be Dismantled And Replaced. The Cabling And Control Of The Blinds And Ventilation Devices Based On Knx Is Retained. The Led Lights That Have Already Been Replaced Will Be Reused. The Low-Voltage Main Distribution Is Replaced During Ongoing Operation. The Existing Telephone, Fiber Optic And Data Cabling Will Be Dismantled And Restructured. The Aim Is To Remove All Disused Lines.
