Multi-Functional Buildings Construction Work – Creation Of A Sports And Cultural Space For Social Integration And Innovation And A Creative Employment Center (Kdap) At Ot107a Of The Kaminion Area Of The Municipality Of Piraeus. The Project Will Be Implemented In The Area Of Kaminia, Which Is One Of The Most Well-Known Working And Popular Districts Of Piraeus, Which Extends To The Back Of The Kerani Tobacco Factory, From Piraeus To The Area Of Retsina And To The West It Borders Palaia Kokkinia. The Region Faces Significant Deficiencies In Terms Of Accessibility, Quality And Completeness Of The Local Network Of Social Infrastructures And Structures, Which Intensified During The Recent Years Of Multiple Crises, Degrading The Quality Of Life Of Its Inhabitants. The Present Project Was Designed With A View To Covering Part Of These Social Needs That Intensified In The Environment Of The Economic Crisis. The New Spaces That Will Be Offered In The Area Of Kaminia Can Significantly Contribute To The Upgrading Of The Public Space And The Social Structures Of The Municipality, Given That A Modern And Accessible Public Space Is Being Formed, A Space For Expression, Sports, Creation For All, And The Provision Of Social Integration Services. In Contact With The Existing Building, The New Complex Will Be Erected, Which Consists Of Two Buildings That House Distinct Uses, Are In Contact With Each Other And Are Separated By An Expansion Joint. Level + 0.00 Is Defined As The Ground Floor Of The Buildings, And Corresponds To Level +4.31 Of The Topographic Diagram. Building 1 (K1) Is Used As A Sports And Cultural Multi-Purpose Hall. It Has Spaces For A Closed Gymnasium-Basketball Court And Its Required Supporting Functions (Dressing Rooms For Athletes And Referees, Wc, Toilets, Offices, Warehouses, Doctors Office, Gym, Physiotherapy Area And Refreshment Room), Building 2 (K2) Has Been Designed Based On The Specifications Of Kdap Childrens Creative Employment Centers And Kdap Mea, For Children With Disabilities, Having The Possibility To House 2 Centers On The Ground Floor And Its Floor. The Design Adopts The Principles Of Bioclimatic Architecture And Serves The Goal Of Limiting The Consequences Of The Urban Heat Island Phenomenon In The Built Environment. This Is Achieved With The Appropriate Design And Use Of Materials In The Surrounding Area, Using Energy Solar Systems As Well As Passive Systems.
