The Purpose Of This Tender Is To Select One (1) Multidisciplinary Contractor, With Specific Knowledge And Expertise In Civil Engineering And Mechanical Engineering Work, Who Will Participate In The Construction Team Phase Of The Project. The Contracting Authority Reserves The Right, As An Optional Follow-Up Step, To Award The Realization Phase To The Selected Contractor, Whereby He Or She Acts As Executive Contractor And Is Integrally Responsible For The Realization Of The Work For The Project. The Work Concerns The Installation Of A New Pumping Station In The Existing Nol Zeven Drainage Shaft, A Project Of The Contracting Authority, Which Is Being Built In West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen To Improve Water Drainage To The Western Scheldt And Reduce Flooding. This Pumping Station Supplements The Discharge Capacity Of The Current Discharge Lock And Is Crucial For More Stable Water Level Management And Freshwater Supply. In The Preliminary Phase, The Contracting Authority Has Already Carried Out A Variant Assessment With The Aim Of Determining The Most Optimal Integration Of Pumps In The Existing Drainage Shafts. In Such A Way That The Construction Is Maintained As Much As Possible And The Drainage Function Is Also Preserved. Based On The Geometric Contours And Bottom And Water Levels, It Was Concluded That Only Horizontally Installed, Fish-Friendly Axial Pumps Can Be Used To Achieve This Goal Without Major Structural Adjustments. On This Basis, The Contracting Authority Has Developed A Sketch Design And Preliminary Design Based On A Pump Arrangement In Vertical Lifting Gates At The Location Of The First Guard Doors. The Pumping Installations Must Contribute To Reliable Water Management Within The Gjp1249 Water Level Area. Nol Zeven Pumping Station Must Function Fully Automatically And At Regular Intervals And Be Connected To The Central Automation System (Caw) Of The Contracting Authority. The Work In The Construction Team Phase Mainly Consists Of Integral And Controlled Preparation Of The Conversion Of The Lock Shafts Of Nol Zeven, Together With The Contracting Authority. The Following Activities Have Already Been Contracted For This Project By The Contracting Authority: The Supply, Transport And Installation Of Four (4) Horizontally Installed Axial Pumps, One (1) Dummy Pump And Two (2) Lifting Slides; Carrying Out Electrical Work; Carrying Out Automation Work. The Contractors For These Activities Will, As Stated Above, Be Periodically Active As Contractors During The Realization Phase Of The Project, And The Contractor Will Have To Fulfill A Coordinated And Integrating Role In This. The Following Results And Achievements Are Central To The Construction Team Phase: Developing The Civil Engineering And Mechanical Engineering Design. This In Close Collaboration With The Contractors Of The Above-Mentioned Activities; Full Integration And Coordination. This Between All Activities And (Secondary) Contractors Involved, So That A Technically Consistent And Feasible Total Design Is Achieved; Direction And Coordination At Interfaces. This Includes The Prevention And Timely Resolution Of Design Conflicts, Interface Issues And Implementation Risks; Control Of Budget, Planning And Risks. This Includes Timely Signaling Of Deviations And Proposing Appropriate Management Measures; Drawing Up A Supported, Executable Implementation Plan. This In Such A Way That Design Choices, Work Sequence, Risk Management And Phasing Have Been Worked Out; Ensuring A Controlled Process Towards Realization. This In Such A Way That It Is Clear What Is Being Built, How It Is Being Built, And Under Which Preconditions The Realization Can Proceed Safely, Efficiently And Predictably.
